The Rambynas Regional Park Directorate together with partners from Klaipeda University, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden implements the project of the European Territorial Cooperation Objective 2014–2020 Interreg V-A South Baltic Cross-Border Cooperation Program “Valorisation of manors for tourism development in rural areas of the South Baltic area”. The main partner of the project is Tourism Association Vorpommern, (Germany).

The aim of this project is to strengthen the use of manors in rural areas of the South Baltic region by developing a marketing method based on the general history of the region, the manor landscape and unusual offers of cultural and tourism services.

The planned result of the project is to increase the number of tourists and cross-border travelers in the manors of rural areas of the South Baltic region during and after the main tourist period, to contribute to the intensity of tourism and the extension of the tourist season in this region.
